This is a superb opportunity with a leading Corporate brokerage with a
strong presence in Yorkshire as well as nationwide. This role is a
little unusual as you will be developing business with the backing of a
large number of local distribution channels who will be passing you
quality leads to work on; therefore no cold calling is required.
This role has two main areas of focus, the main purpose being to generate new commercial clients, however, key to this working effectively is your ability to manage and build strong relationships with your distribution partners, ensuring you receive a consistent flow of leads to work on; some of which you may wish to pass on to other members of the team should the leads not meet your preferred criteria.
Applicants will have a good all round knowledge of most areas of commercial insurance, preferably with ACII or currently studying towards. Experience of dealing with corporate partners would be preferred although not a pre-requisite; what is essential is that you are highly personable, professional and able to win trust comfortably in order to maximise on your lead input.
