This is fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected commercial and specialist insurance brokerage currently in growth mode.
You will be working very closely with the Branch Director, who is a very well connected and highly regarded senior insurance professional able to generate new opportunities with relative ease.
The primary focus is on farm and agricultural related commercial business; you will be given some existing clients to look after and will work to develop your client portfolio by securing new business. The majority of leads come from referrals and networking, attending relevant events including shows and auction marts.
You will have full administrative support including a team of dynamic brokers, account handlers and claims experts. You will have full access to all the relevant insurer markets with very strong relationships in place.
Ideal applicants will be dynamic in approach, new business oriented but also able to manage existing clients; as your portfolio grows you will retain your clients over the longer term.
Some previous experience dealing with farm and agricultural insurance would be preferred although it is not essential. We are also happy to consider candidates from varying insurance backgrounds including general commercial, estates or HNW.
This is a client facing role and we would be keen to hear from either experienced account executives from a broking background or account handlers looking to step up into an account executive position. We would also consider applicants from insurer backgrounds looking to move across into a broking environment.
