An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a truly independent commercial brokerage based South of Manchester. They have a local presence in and around the North of West providing a personal service to all of their clients developing new business opportunities through recommendations, referrals.

This company offers “genuine” development for those individuals wishing to progress their careers. This position offers successful candidates to really learn and develop their skills within a commercial insurance environment working with G.I risk. The role will include mainly internal work and some external client visits where necessary.

Due to the company growing in a forward direction and acquiring new clients facing executives periodically, they have the scope to accommodate someone that has come from a SME background or more Corporate where they will tailor the role around the individuals skills set/technical abilities.

Ideal candidates will have commercial insurance experience and be currently working within a broking environment. This role would offer a great opportunity for less experienced candidates to make the "next step up" and make a real impact within a smaller office environment. It is essential that you can communicate well at all levels and also have a can-do attitude and be proactive in your approach. The role with include presenting risks to the insurer markets and building and maintaining underwriter relationships to ensure you are getting the best deals/terms for the client.
