This is an excellent opportunity to join a high quality independent insurance brokerage in the Newcastle area; currently very much in growth mode with exciting plans and major backing.

This role sits within a very successful commercial insurance sales division, dealing with wide variety commercial clients, mainly SME’s, providing new quotations to potential clients, the leads of which will be provided (no cold calling). These could be small commercial policies, EL/PL, property, PI and commercial combined cases.

You will be speaking to a relatively high volume of potential clients on a daily basis, so excellent communication skills are important as well as the desire to succeed in placing new clients on cover, ability to “ask for the business” and to overcome any objections.

You will be using Acturis (previous experience is preferred) as well as working on e trading platforms and speaking to major composite insurers, MGA’s and specialist insurers on a manual submission basis.

Ideal applicants will have some previous commercial insurance experience, be excellent communicators who work well in a team. Progress towards CII studies will be fully supported.
