Job description

Excellent prospect to join one of Yorkshires most highly respected independent insurance brokerages; an opportunity to take on a reasonably senior commercial / corporate broking role working closely with one of the main company directors.

You will assist in managing a substantial portfolio of loyal commercial clients, some being large and technically complex. You will be assisting in managing existing relationships, making amendments and taking a lead in the marketing of renewals.

Working closely with the director, it’s likely that you may be required to assist in client visits and to take full ownership of some clients, therefore ideally you will have at least 3 + years commercial insurance experience with a solid knowledge of most classes of business, great attention to detail and be a confident communicator able to speak to client contacts at all levels.

It is important that applicants are highly organised, efficient and professional with a natural desire to provide exceptional customer service to longstanding clients.

In terms of long-term career progression, our client prefers to promote from within so it is highly probable that you will have the opportunity to work towards a more senior account executive or management role as a natural progression within the business.

Progress towards CII qualification would be beneficial and will be fully supported.
