Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected commercial insurance brokerage as a part of their “Sports Insurance” division. This role would suit either an Account Executive with experience dealing within the sports sector OR an Account Executive with a good all-round commercial insurance knowledge and with a keen interest in sport, who would like to combine the job with a passion for sports.
This is a dual role, part client servicing and part development with a focus on sports clubs and associations including growth area’s such as padel clubs, as well as gyms, golf clubs, football and cricket clubs etc and an exclusive rugby club arrangement. This is very much a client facing Account Executive role with full broking and admin support provided by an excellent team at head office.
The sports division is headed up by a very popular and supportive Director, who is well known for a providing a platform in which his team can really enjoy the role and develop a career without any unnecessary micromanagement. There is a genuine emphasis on work life balance, personal development with plenty of opportunities to network and develop new contacts.
This role is home based, with the need to travel to Head Office in Yorkshire once a month to meet up with the MD and the wider team. Depending on where you are located, there may be a branch nearby where you can base yourself, if you prefer an office location.
As the business grows, it’s likely that the team in Scotland will increase in numbers, providing a realistic longer-term opportunity for the role to develop into a leadership / management position.
This role comes with an excellent salary up to circa £75k and a comprehensive benefits package; there is full support towards CII qualification and genuine career development over the longer-term.
