Our client is a rapidly expanding independent insurance brokerage based in Leeds. As a part of their client service experience, they have a dedicated claims team, working hard to ensure that claims are resolved quickly and with as little disruption to the client’s business as possible. 

As a claim’s handler, you will deal with claims from notification through to settlement, liaising with all parties and keeping the client informed throughout the process. It is important that you take ownership of your claims, are comfortable interpreting policy wordings and able to challenge insurers where necessary. 

This role is ideally suited to a claim’s handler with a casualty bias and to lesser extent some property claims experience. We are happy to hear from applicants from broker, insurer or loss adjusting backgrounds. Previous use of Acturis is desirable.

This role comes with a salary up to circa £28K - £35k and depending on your previous experience. You will also receive and excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work partly from home. Our client is conveniently located with plenty of parking.
