Opportunity to join a very well-respected insurance brokerage as part of their excellent claims team. This team is headed up by a very experienced and popular claims leader; well-known and well liked in the market and committed to creating an enjoyable working environment.
In this role you will be dealing with a wide variety of claims from private clients through to more complicated commercial claims; the majority of which will be motor, property and casualty, however, you will get to deal with all claim types from time to time and will be dealing with claims from first notification through to settlement.
This is a very client-oriented role, with a huge emphasis placed on going above and beyond, making sure that the client is kept up to date throughout the process, endeavouring to favourably and efficiently resolve claims and being able to study and interpret policy wordings and challenge insurers where necessary.
Although this role is predominantly desk based, there will be opportunities to get out and about to meet clients, adjusters and insurers on site and to be a part of the claims management process, providing best advice and attending client meeting with the account executives.
Ideal applicants will be able to hit the ground running, having held a similar role within an insurance broker environment or perhaps you’re entirely desk based and looking for a role where you start to get out and about. We are also happy to hear from claims professionals from insurer or adjuster backgrounds who would like to work from the broker perspective.
This role comes with a salary up to £40k + a comprehensive benefits package + hybrid working is available.
