Job description
Our client is a long-established insurance brokerage, highly respected and with a low staff turnover. They have a brand-new job opening available within their excellent claims team, headed up by a fantastic and very popular Claims Manager.
In this role, you will be dealing with a wide variety of claims, mainly commercial property, motor and casualty, handling claims from inception through to settlement, liaising with all parties and working closely with the client to find the most efficient and positive solutions.
Ideally, you will be a strong communicator, able to analyse and interpret policy wording and with the confidence to challenge insurers where necessary. It is important that you are highly organised and naturally determined to reach a satisfactory conclusion; always focused on getting the best possible result for the client.
We are happy to hear from applicants working in broker, loss adjuster and insurer environments with a good knowledge of the claims process and ideally able to deal with a wide variety of claims. Previous use of Acturis systems would be beneficial.
