This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very well-respected Leeds based insurance brokerage as a part of their excellent claims team. The Claims Manager is a great person, very down to earth, supportive and committed to creating a professional and enjoyable working environment. They are able to offer flexible hybrid working, once the initial training period has been completed.
In this role you will be handling a wide variety of claims, mainly commercial, although there will be some personal lines related claims. The main areas will be motor, property and casualty, however, you will be trained to deal with all claims across all disciplines. They like to take a very “hands on” approach, working efficiently get to the best possible outcome for the client.
You will be liaising with all parties; clients, insurers, adjuster, solicitors etc and keeping the client fully updated. Ideally you will be comfortable reviewing policy wordings and challenging insurers where necessary. It is important that you have good communication skill and are well organised, ideally with previous experience using Acturis system.
We are happy to hear from applicants from a variety of background; this could be insurance broker, insurance company, loss adjuster or solicitor. Ideally you will have a broad range of claims knowledge, although we would be happy to hear from those with a bias towards motor who would like to branch out into other areas of claims. Full training will be provided.
This role comes with a salary of up to circa £39k dependent on experience + a full benefits package, free parking etc. CII studies will be full supported, and the business is well known for promoting from within.
