Job description
Our client is a fiercely independent commercial insurance brokerage based in Newcastle. They are long established and able to provide a secure working environment with some flexibility.
They are currently looking to appoint a Claims Manager to join the team, providing claims handling support to their loyal client base. This will cover all claims across all disciplines (private clients through to commercial) and with varying levels of involvement, some requiring administrative support, others will require a “hands on” approach with significant involvement from notification through to settlement.
Applicants will be very client oriented, focused on providing an exceptional level of service, highly organised, strong communicator and with a natural inclination to go the extra mile in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.
You will have previous claims handling experience, ideally from a broking environment, although our client is also happy to receive applications from those working for insurers and adjusters.
This role comes with a competitive basic salary and full benefits package; as the team grows it is anticipated that you will become more management oriented as well as taking a lead on the more complex claims.
