This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected insurance brokerage, long established with a low staff turnover and an enviably high level of client retention; a well-earned market reputation based upon their continuous dedication to providing an exceptional level of service. This is a brand new role which has been created due to growth.
In this role, the main area of focus will be to manage a “safe” client portfolio, made up of a wide variety of commercial insurances, mid-market and some corporate cases mainly located in and around the Northeast of England. You will be the making regular client visits, continuing to build upon their very strong relationships, with regular reviews and risk discussions.
As well as managing existing relationships, you will have a keen eye for growth opportunities, whether that can be generated from within your existing portfolio, referrals and recommendations as well as spotting brand new opportunities and reacting to new review requests coming into the business.
This role would be ideally suited to an experienced Account Executive, with a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, a proven track record in client retention and comfortable with some development work. Perhaps you’re working for a large corporate or PE backed business and wish to return to an organisation, very much committed to playing a big part in the community and supporting charities.
Alternatively, perhaps you’re a very experienced commercial or corporate broker / handler with a strong all round insurance knowledge making progress towards CII qualifications and feel ready to make the step up into a client facing Account Executive position.
