Job description
This is a brand-new role with a quality Leeds based Chartered Insurance Brokerage, which has arisen due to internal promotions. This is an excellent business, committed to flexibility with a nice level of work life balance, hybrid working and a relaxed and professional working environment.
In this role, you will be inheriting a loyal client portfolio made up of a wide variety of mainly mid-market commercial clients (non-motor) across all industry sectors. These are longstanding clients which will not be under attack; the book is worth circa £250k in brokerage income.
Although there will be a small element of account growth (all leads will be provided and of the highest quality), the emphasis is on managing the existing clients, through a mixture of telephone, Teams and face to face communication. You will be supported by an excellent team of brokers, account handlers and dedicated claims handlers.
Ideal applicants will have a proven track record in managing an existing client portfolio with a good all-round knowledge of most classes of business; ACII or progress towards would be beneficial and fully supported. You will have great communication skills and be happy to attend client meetings.
This is a very well-respected business with a low staff turnover, not bogged down by internal processes and politics, where you can entirely focus on providing the best level of service to your clients. You will be able to manage your client portfolio in a way you see fit, with the full support of the management team.
This role comes with an excellent salary dependent on experience up to £75k + Bonus + comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working.
