Job description
We are pleased to be working with this excellent West Yorkshire based insurance brokerage, somewhat of a Yorkshire institution with a proud heritage, an enviably high level of client retention and low staff turnover. This role has been created due to an impending retirement and is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to inherit a secure client portfolio that will not be under attack.
You will be working with a very popular Branch Director (no ego), very fair minded and supportive and with a proven track record and a commitment to creating a working environment that is professional, enjoyable and flexible with great work life balance.
You will inherit a loyal client portfolio, made up of an interesting mix of mainly mid-market and corporate clients of varying technical complexity and sophistication, the vast majority being locally based, although there may be one or two clients based further afield (London. Scotland etc). Your portfolio will be worth circa £150k brokerage income leaving you a little bit of room to do some development work / react to any leads which are incoming.
Ideal applicants will be service oriented, with a proven track record of managing mid-market / corporate clients, previous client facing account executive experience with a natural inclination to providing an exceptional level of service. You will also be willing to be involved in some new business generation and account growth, responding to any incoming leads and with a keen eye for new referrals from your existing client base.
For those candidates who may have a number of portable clients which may follow (subject to contractual obligations), there will be lucrative financial incentives in place as well as a generous commission structure on any organic account growth that you achieve.

This role comes with a salary of circa £50k - £75k + bonus + a comprehensive benefits package, full support towards ACII, flexible hybrid working and genuine career progression.
