Commercial Account Handler – Edinburgh

Job description

This is a great opportunity to join an established insurance brokerage based in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. You will be joining a team dealing with a wide variety of commercial clients, main SME through to mid-market.

In this role, you will be liaising with clients and insurers on a daily basis, dealing with some new enquiries, but mainly providing excellent service to existing clients, making amendments to existing policies as well as marketing and negotiating renewal terms. 

This is a really nice team, headed up by a very experienced local professional with a solid broking background and with a commitment to creating an enjoyable, professional and rewarding working environment with great work life balance. In speaking with the Team Manager, she was keen to point out that this is an excellent business to work for, that genuinely cares for its employees.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience; perhaps you’ve primarily focused on SME insurances and would like to start to work on some larger mid-market cases. Previous use of Acturis system would certainly be beneficial. CII studies will be fully supported.

This role comes with a salary up to circa £30k per annum + Benefits. The business has been known to provide excellent perks, including team building trips and fun company “get-togethers”.
