Commercial Account Handler – Leeds City Centre / Hybrid

Our client is a very well-regarded commercial insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from the train station. They have been established for many years and continue to achieve impressive growth. In this role, you will be joining an excellent team, dealing primarily with mid-market and some corporate risks across all commercial insurance disciplines, supporting a team of Account Executives based all over the UK. 
On a day-to-day basis, you will be dealing mainly with existing clients, making amendments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewal terms. There will also be an element of new business support, putting together new risk submissions and taking risks to market. Previous use of Acturis system would be advantageous (system training can be provided).

Their offices are modern and appealing and conveniently located. The team dynamic is professional, friendly and supportive, with an optional element of social interaction. CII studies are fully supported and there is genuine career progression and technical insurance development.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience and be keen to work for a quality business. Previous use of Acturis is preferred and you will be very “team oriented”, a good communicator and with great attention to detail. We are happy to hear from SME account handlers looking to begin dealing with larger risks. 

This role comes with an excellent salary up to circa £35k + a full and comprehensive benefits package.
