Commercial Account Handler - Leeds City Centre

Job description
This is a brand-new role, created to due to growth. Our client is a well-known and very successful commercial insurance brokerage located in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from bus and train connections. They have an excellent modern office set up and can offer flexible hybrid working.
This role is focused entirely on commercial risks, mainly mid-market / corporate clients, assisting the account executives, speaking to clients and insurers daily. There will be some involvement on new business cases, compiling submissions and taking risks to market, however, the main emphasis will be on existing clients, making policy amendments, marketing and negotiating renewals, keeping Acturis up to date and providing a high level of client service.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years + commercial broking / account handling experience, with a good all-round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance. Previous use of Acturis and progress towards CII would be beneficial and studies will be fully supported. You will be professional, team oriented, a strong communicator and with great attention to detail.
This role comes with an excellent salary up to circa £40k and a full and comprehensive benefits package.
