Commercial Account Handler - Leeds City Centre

Job description

This is a fantastic business, a quality commercial insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre and uniquely with plenty of parking available. They have grown over the last few years and boast a very low staff turnover. This is mainly due to the excellent team that has been built and that everyone gets on really well, both from a work perspective and from time to time from a social and team sports perspective.

This brand-new role has been created due to an internal promotion and requires an individual with at least 3 years commercial insurance broker / account handler experience. In this role, you will inherit a safe client portfolio, mainly mid-sized commercial SME clients across all commercial sectors. You will be handling the full cycle, building client relationships, making amendments and dealing with renewals, typically premiums from £2000 to £20,000 per annum.

The ideal applicant will be in a similar role, perhaps working for a national broker and keen to join a smaller business where you can be a name rather than just a number and be part of a highly enjoyable and professional business with genuine career progression.

This role comes with a basic salary up to circa £40k and with a comprehensive benefits package and support towards CII studies (if you wish to pursue).
