Commercial Account Handler – Leeds / Hybrid

Job description

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week from the office and 2 days from home; a brand new opportunity which has been created as a result of the excellent growth that our client has consistently achieved. This is, in part, due to the fantastic Divisional Director, who has created a very enjoyable and collaborative working environment, allowing the team to thrive and to earn regular promotions.

Working closely with a senior commercial broker / account handler, you will be providing support to a team of account executives, some desk based and dealing mainly with SME clients and others more client facing and servicing large mid-market clients. You will be dealing with new and existing clients, taking risks to market, making amendments to existing policies and negotiating renewals, speaking to clients and insurers and keeping client files accurate and up to date using Acturis system.

This is an interesting role allowing you the opportunity to deal with a wide variety of commercial clients across a varying spectrum of industries. You will be joining a very “team oriented” organisation with plenty of room for career progression and with full support towards CII studies.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial broking or account handling experience, be keen to join a progressive organisation where you can take advantage of genuine career progression. You will be a team player who enjoys speaking to clients and insurers daily.

This role comes with a salary of up to circa £40k per annum and with a full benefits package provided and financial support towards professional qualifications. The office is conveniently located with plenty of parking.
