Our client is a very well-respected commercial insurance brokerage; they have won “best employer” awards. This is a relatively new branch, which has been quietly building its client base over the last few years, and has now reached a point where they are keen to add additional talent to the team.
They currently have an opening available to appoint an additional Commercial Account Handler to support the account executive team, working primarily on mid-market and corporate risks, although there may be some smaller SME cases from time to time, which you will be able to add to your client portfolio.
In this role you will assist on new business cases, working closely with the AE’s, compiling submissions and taking risks to market. You will also be dealing with existing clients, making amendments and adjustments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. You will be speaking to clients and insurers on a regular basis.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years of commercial broking experience; we are happy to hear from those with SME commercial experience looking for an opportunity to step up into mid-market and corporate. You will be professional, team oriented with Acturis experience and interested in studying towards CII qualifications.
This role comes with a salary circa £30k - £40k + comprehensive benefits package. As a growing office, this is an exciting time to join and could present you with lots of career development.
