An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a truly independent commercial brokerage based in Sheffield with excellent access just off the M1 motorway. They have a presence in and around Yorkshire and UK wide providing a personal service to all of their clients developing new business opportunities through recommendations, referrals.

This position offers successful candidates to really learn and develop their skills within a commercial insurance environment working with G.I risk. The role will be working very closely with their Account Executive team and include some external client visits where necessary.
Due to the company growing in a forward direction and acquiring new clients facing executives periodically, they have the scope to accommodate someone that has come from a SME background or more Mid-Corporate where they will tailor the role around the individuals skills set/technical abilities.
Ideal candidates will have commercial insurance experience and be currently working within a broking environment. This role would offer a great opportunity for someone with a few years experienced under their belt, or candidates looking to make the "next step up" and make a real impact. It is essential that you can communicate well at all levels and also have a can-do attitude and be proactive in your approach. The role with include presenting risks to the insurer markets and building and maintaining underwriter relationships to ensure you are getting the best deals/terms for the client.
Hybrid working option is also supported.
Base salary £35K to £43K, plus some excellent benefits, along with career support and a development programme so that you can progress within the organisation.
