Commercial Account Handler (Sports Insurance) – North Leeds / Hybrid

Job description

This is a brand-new position which has just been opened up due to growth and provides the opportunity to combine commercial insurance broking with an interest in sports and leisure. In this role there will be a primary focus on dealing with sports clubs and sporting associations including golf clubs, cricket clubs, padel clubs etc.

Working within a great team, you will be able to handle the full cycle on the smaller clients including providing quotations, making amendments and leading renewal negotiations. You will also be supporting the Account Executive’s on the larger cases. This role will involve lots of client and insurer contact.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 + years commercial broking or account handling experience, enjoy speaking to clients and insurers daily and have a good level of attention to detail. The office is state of the art and appealing and well located with plenty of parking, close to local amenities etc.

Our client is a leading commercial insurance brokerage, highly respected and able to provide a salary of up to circa £40k dependent on experience and with a comprehensive benefits package, full support towards CII studies and with hybrid working available.

The Branch Director is well known for being fair, decent and supportive, and has a track record in developing his staff into more senior and higher profile roles over the longer-term.
