Job description
This is a brand-new role which has been created following an internal promotion and provides the opportunity to join a high-quality insurance brokerage in the Bradford area. They have been trading for many years and boast a large and loyal client following. The business can offer a flexible environment; hybrid working and have a genuine focus on work life balance.
In this role, you will be working with the Account Executives, providing commercial broking and account handling support on mainly mid-market and some corporate risks; you will be assisting on new business cases, but mainly working with existing clients, making amendments and adjustments and taking risks to market at renewal. In this role, you will be speaking to clients and insurers daily, as well as working closely with the team.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial broking / account handling experience with a good all-round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, previous use of Acturis would be beneficial, although full system training can be provided. You will be a good communicator and with great attention to detail.
This role comes with an excellent salary, circa £35k to £40k, dependent on experience and with a full and comprehensive benefits package. Full support towards CII studies will be provided and the business is able to offer genuine career progression.
