We are pleased to be working with this excellent insurance brokerage conveniently based in Leeds City Centre. They have achieved highly impressive organic growth over the last 10 years, which has provided many fantastic career opportunities within the business.

This is a brand-new role within one of their commercial insurance teams with a focus on motor trade combined insurance, this a commercial combined and fleet insurance policy. You will be supporting a team of remote based Account Executives, assisting on new business enquiries, dealing with mid-term adjustments and marketing, negotiating and underwriting renewals.

This is an interesting dual role; you will have broking duties as well as being a delegated authority underwriter, working closely with numerous major insurers, looking at risks and providing underwriting decisions to assist your Account Executive team.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 + years’ experience in a broker / account handler role or an underwriting capacity and be keen to join a dynamic business with lots of variety. Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial but is not essential (training can be provided). Full support will be provided to those wanting to study towards CII qualifications.

This is a hybrid role from day one, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The role comes with a basic salary up to circa £32k + a great annual bonus (up to £2500), full benefits including 26 days holiday, great pension contributions and discounted private medical insurance.
