This is a fantastic opportunity with one of the Yorkshire’s great success stories; an independent and chartered insurance brokerage which has achieved impressive organic growth over the last decade and continues to expand, creating lots of brands new job opportunities.

Our client is committed to providing a secure, professional and enjoyable working environment with a focus on work life balance. They currently work on a flexible hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. They have a low staff turnover and are conveniently located on the outskirts (not far from the centre) of Leeds with plenty of parking available and a bus stop right outside of the office. 

As a part of this excellent team, you will be assisting the Account Executrices with their client portfolios, compiling new business submissions, making amendments to existing policies, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. This will be a wide variety of general commercial clients across all business sectors, mainly mid-market, and the odd larger case here and there. Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial.

As well as your broking / handling duties, you will be building relationships with your insurer contacts and working closely with the account executives to deliver a high-quality service to clients. Ideally you will have previous commercial broking experience; perhaps you’re an SME broker looking to start dealing with larger cases or currently in a similar role and wanting to join a really nice independent business.

As a chartered brokerage, our client is very supportive of CII qualifications and will fully support you via funding and study assistance. 

This role comes with a salary of up to circa £40k per annum and with a full benefits package. This business is keen to promote from within and can offer genuine career progression.
