This is a fantastic opportunity with a very successful commercial insurance brokerage, conveniently located in Leeds City Centre. This role has been created due to growth and provides the opportunity to join a great team, dealing with a wide range of commercial clients, mainly mid-market, premiums from circa £20K and up into the £100k +.

This client works on a hybrid basis, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and is able to provide an excellent basic salary of up to £40k per annum + a comprehensive benefits package and bonus. 

You will deal with some of the smaller clients independently, however, the majority of cases will be larger mid-market and you will be supporting the account executives by speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis, assisting on new business cases, making amendments to existing policies and taking renewals to market to obtain the best possible terms. 

It is important that you have good communication skills and are well organised, able to keep client files accurate and up to date using Acturis system. This is very much a team-oriented environment with plenty of training provided. 

Ideal applicants will either be in a similar role and looking for a new challenge, or perhaps you currently deal with smaller commercial SME clients and would like to step up into the area of mid-market; you may feel that you would like a greater technical challenge dealing with more complex risks.
