Commercial Broker (Mid-Market / Corporate) – West Yorkshire / Hybrid

This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality insurance brokerage with a very low staff turnover. They have been established in the South Leeds area for many years, with a very loyal client base made up of mainly mid-market and corporate risks.

The Branch MD is well respected and committed to providing a professional and enjoyable working environment with lots of flexibility. Currently, they work on a hybrid basis, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

In this role, you will support the Account Executives on a wide range of commercial risks, an interesting mix of mid-market and corporate clients, mainly working with existing clients, making amendments and adjustments, marketing and negotiating renewals with lots of client and insurer communications.

There will also be an element of assisting with new enquiries, compiling new business submissions and liaising with insurers to find the beast possible terms for the potential client.

This role can be office based or hybrid; The Branch MD requires you to be in the office at least twice a week, ideally. 

Applicants will have at least 3 years commercial insurance broking experience, dealing with a wide range of commercial risks and with previous use of Acturis (not essential). Strong communications skill and a good “team ethic” would be preferred. 

This role comes with a salary of circa £35k to £45k + a full and comprehensive benefits package. Full support towards CII studies will be provided.
