This business currently works on a 3 day’s from the office, 2 days from home basis and can offer further flexibility where required. The MD is very family oriented and is keen to provide an environment with great work / life balance.

In this role, you will be joining an excellent team, supporting a UK wide network of Account Executives, dealing with a varied and interesting mix of general commercial insurances, ranging in premium spend from £5k to £250k, mainly mid-market cases across a wide spectrum of industries. You will mainly be assisting with existing clients, making amendments to cover, marketing and negotiating renewal terms etc. There will also be an element of broking brand new cases, going to market to obtain terms.

On a day to day basis you will be liaising with clients, insurers, AE’s, and your team mates and therefore will need to be a confident communicator, who enjoys speaking to people. Ideally you will be well organised and able to use Acturis system (training can be provided).

As well as your broking duties, you will be acting as a relationship manager between the remote based Account Executives and the business, assisting them, not just in managing their client portfolios, but also helping them to achieve account growth by keeping them up to date with market trends, insurer relationship, placement opportunities etc. 

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial broking or account handling experience, previous use of Acturis and be making progress towards or interested in pursuing CII qualifications.  It is important that you work well in a team environment.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary of up to circa £40k (potentially higher, depending on experience) and with a full benefits package. They are conveniently located with plenty of parking and have a modern and appealing office set up.
