Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected and highly successful independent insurance brokerage, based in Leeds City Centre and working on a hybrid basis, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
In this senior role, you will be managing a small team of brokers / account handlers with a focus on motor insurance risks, mainly commercial fleet oriented this could be anything from fleets of company cars to larger fleets of commercial vehicles, vans, lorries, agricultural vehicles and machinery etc.
Whilst allocating the majority of your client duties to your team; you will take the lead on larger and more complex cases, working closely with the Account Executives and Account Directors to provide an exceptional level of service to their very loyal client base.
Your management duties will include supporting the team, identifying and providing training to the less experienced team members, overseeing the day-to-day work to ensure an organised and efficient process with great attention to detail; there may be need to attend some client meetings from time to time with the Account Executives. You will be working closely with and reporting to the Branch Leader, with regular discussions around clients, processes and with a continuous focus on the client experience /ongoing improvements to service etc.
This role could suit an individual with management or team leader experience, comfortable focusing on motor / fleet insurance or perhaps someone currently sitting in the deputy position, keen to take a leadership role. Our client is also open to applications from motor fleet underwriters, perhaps wanting to move across to the broker side.
This role comes with an excellent salary of up to circa £50k - £60k plus a comprehensive benefits package. The office is conveniently located and highly appealing, just a short walk from the train station.
