Our client is a tremendous success story; an independent insurance business that have gone from strength to strength and have consistently expanded year on year with quality organic growth. They have a fantastic team of Account Executives located all across the UK, all developing their client portfolios.
As a part of the Account Executive support team, you will be broking a wide range of commercial insurance risks across all commercial sectors. This role will require you to work with your allocated AE’s, assisting with new business submissions, making amendments to existing policies and marketing renewals. You will be speaking to clients and insurers daily, working with the AE’s to deliver an exceptional level of service.
As well as your broking duties, you will be liaising regularly with the Account Executive’s to keep them updated on markets, processes and assisting them in project managing clients to ensure account growth. This part of the role is key to the company’s strategy and provides you with the opportunity to get out of the office and grab a spot of lunch with the AE’s from time to time.
In this role, you will be dealing with mainly larger SME, mid-market risks and the occasional corporate case. There is a separate team dealing with micro-SME and private clients.
Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial broking / account handling experience and be keen to work for a quality independent chartered brokerage that supports CII studies. This role is hybrid working, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The role comes with a salary of up to £40k + benefits. They have a nice modern office with plenty of parking and close to a bus stop.
