This is a fantastic opportunity which will appeal to an experienced commercial broker / handler or a desk-based Account Executive looking to step up and become more client facing. This is a highly respected commercial insurance brokerage, long established and a leader in its specific field of business. You will be working closely with a supportive MD and an existing team which consists of account executives, broker / admin support and marketing / lead generation.

This opportunity will appeal to those looking for a varied role, which combines client management, new business development and industry networking.  You will initially inherit a manageable portfolio of existing loyal clients; leaving you plenty of time to react to quality new enquiries provided by the lead generation and marketing team.

As well as your day-to-day client and new business duties, you will be representing the company at networking events, conferences and exhibitions, so it’s important that you have good communication skills. This role is more “advisory” and less “salesy” and would suit a more consultative approach, with a focus on quality and long-term client relationships.

Ideal applicants will have a good all-round knowledge of commercial insurance and be happy to focus on one industry sector. Clients could range from small SME to large £multi-million turnovers. You will be provided with full product training and able to shadow the account executives on client meetings in the early stages. 

This role comes with a salary of up to circa £50k dependent on experience. There will be a commission structure and full benefits provided as well as support towards CII studies.
