Job description

This is a superb new job opening, which has recently been created due to retirements and provides an opportunity to inherit a loyal client portfolio, which has been with the business for many years. Although there will be a very small amount of account growth, the emphasis is very much on managing existing client relationships over the long-term.

This is an excellent insurance brokerage, very well respected and able to provide a highly competitive basic salary up to circa £80k per annum and with a comprehensive benefits package which includes a generous pension contribution, private medical insurance, and above average holiday entitlement as well as a further range of excellent benefits.

The inherited portfolio is made up of mainly larger mid-market to corporate clients, including some well-known “household names”, the majority of which are based in the North or England, however, there are some clients based further afield including London and Scotland, which will require a bit of extra travelling to.

This role is well suited applicants who enjoy dealing with larger complex clients and who have a proven track record in retaining clients and in developing loyal relationships. This excellent business has a very proud culture of providing an exceptional level of service and requires an individual who shares this ethos.

A good level of general commercial knowledge along with ACII or progress towards is required; this is a client facing role, therefore it’s vital that you enjoy interacting directly with clients and are confident dealing with senior decision makers.
