Desk Based Account Executive – Leeds Centre / Hybrid

Our client is fiercely independent insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre, a few minutes’ walk from the station and they have parking available. They have been experiencing a fantastic period of growth, which has created the need to open up a number of brand new roles recently.

They currently require a “Desk Based Account Executive” to join the business with a primary focus on new business. The vast majority of leads are incoming and connected to various commercial arrangements and distribution channels. They will ordinarily be SME commercial clients with premium spends up to circa £15k, some could be larger cases.

This role could suit either an experienced sales executive with a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, who has held a similar role previously, enjoys doing new business and who is looking to join a quality, flexible business with plenty of career progression.

Or, alternatively, you may be less experienced, perhaps have 12 months + commercial insurance experience, enjoy new business and be looking for a great place to develop. Whichever you are, we would be happy to hear from you.

In terms of salary, our client is flexible and able to pay up to circa £35k as a basic salary with full benefits and a fantastic commission structure, which is both realistic and achievable and could add as much as £8k to your income, although it is uncapped, so you could earn more. 

The working environment is excellent, nice offices, great “team” ethos and a fun social scene with lots going on. Previous Acturis use would be beneficial and CII study support will be provided.
