This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial broker / handler to move into an Account Executive position with a quality insurance brokerage. This will especially appeal to those with a keen interest in sport, who would like to combine the day-to-day insurance role with the interest of sports clubs (cricket clubs, golf clubs, padel clubs etc) and leisure industry clients.

You will be joining an excellent team, headed up by a highly respected Branch Director, who has a proven track record in nurturing and developing his teams into more senior positions. Working from their Leeds HQ with plenty of parking and with hybrid working available, there is an excellent salary on offer with a comprehensive benefits package provided.

Ideal applicants will have a good knowledge of commercial insurance risks, from SME through to larger mid-market; previous knowledge of the sports and leisure insurance sector would certainly be advantageous, however, not essential. It is important, though, that you would be happy to specialise in this area of business.

In this role, there will be a slight bias towards managing existing clients; you will inherit your own portfolio and there will be some new business development work / portfolio growth. Some clients can be managed via telephone and Teams; some will require face to face visits.

Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, but not essential (system training can be provided). For those interested in pursuing the CII qualifications, full study support will be provided.
