This is a new and exciting opportunity to work for leading Global Insurance company with offices throughout the UK. They offer a wide range of general insurance products focusing around the Mid Corp arena, providing excellent customer service to its portfolio of intermediaries within the UK.

There are looking for a Motor Fleet trading Underwriter who are looking to progress their career forward and to join their team in Leeds. There would be some hybrid working.

Your role will include dealing end to end with brokers and customers whilst collaborating with the team to support both the lead trading underwriter and underwriting leader in delivering financials.

You will also be expected to embrace and understand strategy to be an active mobile underwriter, working professionally and effectively wherever you are located. There will also be opportunities to work towards underwriting licence levels as appropriate to your job grade.

Skills and experience they are looking for:

• Knowledge of insurance product features & processes
• Knowledge of underwriting – Commercial Motor Fleet
• Good planning, prioritisation, and organisation skills
• Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
• Good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation
