This is a new and exciting opportunity to work for leading Global Insurance company with offices throughout the UK.

There are looking for either a Motor Trade or P&C Trading Mid-Market Underwriter who are looking to progress their career forward and to join their team in London. There would be some hybrid working.

Depending on your preference, this could be writing new business or existing business or both.

You will also be expected to embrace and understand strategy to be an active mobile underwriter, which would include face o face broker visits. There will also be opportunities to work towards underwriting licence levels as appropriate to your job grade.

Hybris working is also accommodated and 50/50 home/office split.

Skills and experience they are looking for:

• Experience of Motor Trade or Property & Casualty Underwriting is essential
• Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
• Previous analysis of risks and the ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers is preferred but not essential
• Good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation and ACII qualifications are desirable
