This is a new and exciting opportunity to work for leading Global Insurance.
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Motor Underwriting Analyst to join their Motor Underwriting team. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to make a significant impact on the market-leading Motor Pricing and Underwriting.
The company offer a hybrid working arrangement where you can work 50% of your time at home and 50% working from one of their regional offices which are located across the UK.
It's an exciting time to join the company’s personal lines business. After a period of profitable growth, they’re moving to expand some of their key teams in data, analytics, pricing, underwriting, and trading.
A bit about the job:
- Evaluate data and identify opportunities to support ambitious Growth Plans for Personal Lines Van and Telematic/Car Accounts
- Collaborate across their end-to-end motor teams to create a pipeline of continuous improvements that support the company’s profitable growth ambitions
- Be a key contributor to the development of their people and technical capabilities
- Ensure fair treatment of customers and effective risk management
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in Motor Underwriting Experience, preference specialist in Van and Telematics
- Ability to analyse and deliver insights from a broad range of data sets
- Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking, strong financial and statistical knowledge with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good Knowledge on Regulatory and Compliance requirements
- Desirable to have relevant industry qualification (i.e. CII DIPCII, ACII) and / or data analytical experience

What you’ll get for this role:
- Competitive Salary (depending on experience & location) £50K to £78K. (May also look to recompense any bonuses potentially due next year)
- Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary
- Generous pension scheme – company contribute up to 14%
- 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days
- Up to £1,200 free share annually
