This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys the cut and thrust of negotiating with insurers and placing risks. This is a role, which has much less involvement in the regulatory administration of general account handling, and much more insurer relationship and networking responsibility.

In this role, you will be floating between several branches, all based within the Yorkshire area, assisting your Account Handler and Account Executive colleagues in the placement of commercial insurance risks, generally with premium spends from £15k upwards into the £100k’s. 

This will include technical support, market expertise and generally guiding risks to the correct insurers based on cost, level of cover and always with “the clients” best solution as your primary objective.

Ideal applicants will have a good understanding of most classes of commercial insurance, preferably with progress towards CII qualifications. You will be a strong communicator who enjoys meeting up with insurer contacts, developing great relationships and placing risks.

This role comes with a salary of around £37k to £42k + a comprehensive benefits package. Their Leeds head office is conveniently located with plenty of parking, although you could base yourself from any of their offices based in West, East or North Yorkshire.
