Private Client Account Handler – East Yorkshire

Job description

We are delighted to be working with this quality independent insurance brokerage in the Hull area, very much in growth mode and keen to appoint an additional account handler to join their private client team, dealing with a large and loyal portfolio, built up over many years.

In this role, you will be dealing with all aspects of personal lines insurance including motor, household, travel, personal accident etc, dealing with new business enquiries, managing and making amendments to existing polices and negotiating renewal terms with insurers.

Ideal applicants will have a good all-round knowledge of most personal lines insurance products, be very client oriented, organised and able to keep client records accurate and up to date using Acturis system. You will be a strong communicator able to deal with clients via the telephone, email and in person.

Although the primary focus is currently on private clients, there will be a push to develop the commercial insurance side of the business, which is likely to open up great career opportunities within then business over the longer-term.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary up to circa £30k per annum plus a full benefits package and support towards CII studies.
