Job description
We are pleased to be working very closely with this highly respected commercial insurance brokerage on the outskirts of Leeds (next to a bus stop and with plenty of parking). They have gone from strength to strength over the last 5 or 6 years which has enabled them to create lots of excellent new job opportunities. They have a very low staff turnover due to the flexible hybrid environment and the very “team oriented” nature of the business.
This role sits within their broking team, supporting a national network of account executives with a very diverse range of commercial clients. Although the mix of business is anywhere from SME through to mid-market, they are winning more and more larger clients (£100k + premium spends) and therefore have created a brand-new role for somebody who likes to focus on the larger, more complex risks.
Ideal applicants will have at least 5 + years commercial broking experience, preferably with exposure to mid-market / corporate cases and with a good knowledge of the insurer landscape and with existing insurer contacts. Previous use of Acturis is preferred and with progress towards CII qualifications (professional studies will be fully supported).
As well as handling the larger cases, you will work closely with the Divisional Manager, providing support to the lesser experienced members of the team.
This role comes with a salary of up to circa £50k + a comprehensive benefits package, currently working on 3 days from the office, 2 days from home basis.
