Our client is a very well-respected insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from transport links. They provide a professional and enjoyable working environment, very “team” oriented and currently working on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

This role has been created due to an impending retirement and provides a fantastic opportunity for an experienced claims handler to take on a leadership position, managing a small team. You will be dealing with a full range of commercial claims across all business sectors, with an emphasis on providing an exceptional level of service to clients.
In this role, you will lead your team to handle claims from first notification through to settlement, liaising with all parties and keeping the client regularly updated. You will be able to analyse and interpret policy wording and be willing to challenge insurers where necessary.
Although predominately desk based, there may be situations where you need to visit clients with the Account Executive to discuss claims / claims prevention.
Ideal applicants will have worked for an insurance broker, handing a wide range of claims and be at the point, where you’re ready to step up into a Team Leader role.
This role comes with an excellent salary of up to Circa £40k per annum + a full and comprehensive benefits package.
