Job description

Our client is a long established and well respected independent insurance brokerage, with a Leeds based HQ although they are happy to consider applicants on a part home / part office basis. They hold chartered status and are keen to support their staff through professional qualifications.

Working with a team of account executives, you will be providing support on the larger technically challenging cases, so ideally this role requires an individual with a reasonably high level of technical insurance expertise across most classes of commercial insurance.

Ability to deal assist with new business, create quality submissions and have a confident knowledge of the relevant insurer markets is essential. You will also be managing the renewal process on larger clients in conjunction with AE’s and Account Directors. This role requires client and insurer contact and potentially the need to support the AE’s on client visits from time to time.

Although this is not a management position, it would be great to appoint an individual able to act as a technical referral point to the lesser experienced members of the team. Ideally you will have made process towards CII studies and be an Acturis user.
