This is a new and exciting opportunity to work for leading Global Insurance company with offices throughout the UK.

Our insurer client is seeking 3 experienced dynamic trading Senior Underwriters to work from their city of London operation to join them to be aligned to a portfolio of international brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their commercial book of business within the company.

As a Senior Underwriter, you’ll provide an outstanding service to their customers and brokers. You’ll drive New and/or Existing business and professional relationships, directly contributing to the underwriting profit and loss, trading, and service delivery goals. In addition to this, you’ll also be responsible for mentoring and coaching colleagues within the team and creating tailor-made solutions for our customers. This role could be ideal for you if you’re a dynamic trader with leadership skills, a strong industry-led background, and a track record of winning new business.

This role does have the option of dealing with new or existing business, or both and they will tailor the role around the individual.

The reason for these opportunities is due to growth within the team and also 1 internal promotion which is really encourage and supported within the company.

Skills and experience they are looking for are:

• Strong knowledge in Property & Casualty with a proven track record of winning and retaining business. Experience in real estate, specialty lines, fleet & motor trade is desirable
• Process Improvement: Experience in applying underwriting knowledge to improve processes and procedures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ability to manage underwriting caseload within a regulatory environment.
• Business Development: Excellent skills in business development and customer engagement.
• Communication & Qualifications: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a Diploma in CII or willingness to study for and obtain CII qualifications.

• Competitive Salary (depending on experience) £70K to £90K.
