Job description
Our client is an established commercial insurance brokerage in the South Leeds area. They have been growing nicely over the last 10 years + and have been able to create some excellent career opportunities. They have a very low staff turnover and are committed to work life balance.
This is a brand-new role within their small business team, dealing with mainly SME clients, generally with annual premiums spends up to £10k across all areas of business including shops, offices, sole traders, package policies, smaller commercial combined polices etc.
In this role you will be mainly dealing with existing clients, making amendments to policies, speaking to clients at renewal, marketing and negotiating renewal terms and keeping accurate up to date client records using Acturis system. There may be small amount of new business as and when new enquiries are incoming.
This role would ideally suit an individual with 12 months + commercial insurance experience, preferably experience gained within a broking environment and with previous use of Acturis. We are looking for a “team player” with great communication skills and who is very client oriented. Perhaps you work for a large national broker and find the SME environment is becoming very “call centre” and wish to join a business with a more traditional and client focused ethos.
This role comes with a salary up to circa £35,000 and with an excellent benefits package including the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. CII studies will be fully supported and there will be plenty of opportunities to build your career with the business.
