Our client is a quality independent insurance brokerage, well respected and achieving fantastic growth. They currently have roles available within their commercial SME team based in Newcastle City Centre. This is a vibrant team, a fun and professional working environment with an opportunity earn great commission to enhance your basic salary.
In this team, you will be dealing with a wide variety of commercial insurances, primarily with annual premium spends up to circa £10k, however, there will also be some larger cases. This would be commercial risks across most sectors including retail, manufacturing, EL/PL and professional indemnity insurances.
Dealing with either new business enquiries or renewing existing policies (all enquiries are incoming), you will be speaking to clients and insurers daily, providing new or renewal quotations with access to most major insurers.
Ideally, you will have previous commercial insurance experience with a reasonable all-round knowledge (additional technical training will be provided); previous exposure to professional indemnity insurances would be beneficial but is not essential. Also, previous use of Acturis system is desirable.
This role comes with a basic salary of up to circa £32k + commission which can take your earnings up to £35k - £40k. They also provide a very generous benefits package + flexible hybrid working, part home and part office if required.
