Our client is a highly successful commercial insurance brokerage based in Leeds City Centre. They consistently achieve impressive organic growth year on year, and as a result, are able to provide excellent job opportunities within the business.
As a part of their client offering, they pride themselves in providing an exceptional claims service, working hard to settle claims efficiently and in their client’s favour. As the business grows, so has the claims team, and they now have an opening available at trainee level.
This role would suit an individual with 12 months claims experience, gained in a broker, insurer or loss adjusting environment. Although they deal with all types of claims, there is a bias towards motor claims, so previous motor claims experience would certainly be beneficial.
In this role you will be trained to handle claims from inception through to settlement, liaising with clients, adjusters, third parties etc and keeping the client regularly updated on the status of the claims. You will be keeping the system updated using Acturis and as your technical knowledge develops, you will be able to analyse policy wording and challenge insurers where necessary.
This role can be fully office based or hybrid (currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
The role comes with a salary up to circa £24k + a full a comprehensive benefits package and full support towards CII qualifications.
