Our client is a hugely successful commercial insurance brokerage based in Leeds, they have delivered impressive year on year organic growth and currently have 2 brand new roles available due to internal promotions. You will get to join a fantastic team, headed up by a very popular and inspirational Divisional Director, who is incredibly supportive and has created an enjoyable “team oriented” environment with a very low staff turnover.
This is a dual role, part client servicing and part business development. You will inherit a loyal client portfolio from day one. A mix of commercial clients with annual premium spends from £2k to £20k; some of which may require a client visits, many others can be contacted via Teams or by telephone (this would be down to your discretion).
You will also be looking to develop your client portfolio by winning new clients; the vast majority of leads will be provided to you and will be accurate and high quality, so you won’t be expected to be outbound calling, however, you will be shown how to win referrals and recommendations from your existing client base.
You will be supported by a team of account handlers and broking administrators and will have access to most major insurers, specialist insurers, Lloyds of London and numerous specialist schemes with which to place risks.
Ideal applicants will have at least 3 years commercial insurance experience, preferably broking or account handling and be ready to step up into an account executive position. Our client has a very well-structured environment enabling you to make the transition comfortably with all the relevant training and support provided to you.
Once you’re up to speed, there are various account executive levels to work towards including Senior Account Executive, Account Director or if your long-term goal is to work for yourself, they can support you in moving towards Appointed Representative status.
This role comes with a basic salary range from £35k - £45k per annum with an excellent commission structure and a full benefits package. The working pattern in hybrid, currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
