Trainee Commercial Insurance Broker – Leeds or Harrogate / Hybrid Working

Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for ambitious insurance professionals looking to develop a commercial broking career with a quality insurance business able to provide full training, flexible working and with full support towards CII studies.

In this role, you will spend the first few weeks training on both technical commercial insurance and the Acturis system. Once up to speed, you will be dealing a wide variety of SME commercial clients with annual premiums spends up to £10k. 

This particular team is entirely focused on dealing with existing clients, therefore there will be no direct sales required. This quality opportunity would ideally suit individuals from private clients insurance background, perhaps broking, underwriting or insurance call centre, but looking for a more technically challenging role with great long-term prospects.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary + a great commission structure based on sensible and achievable targets which could earn you as much as £6k per annum in bonuses. There is also a fantastic and very generous benefits package.
