This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected insurance brokerage with numerous branches across the Yorkshire area. You will be reporting to the regional MD, who is a very popular figure within the local insurance community, well known for being fair and openminded, with a proven track record in leading successful businesses and with a commitment to work life balance, flexibility and creating an enjoyable working environment.
In this role, you be leading the Account Executive support teams in multiple locations, who work primarily on mid-market and corporate cases across all commercial insurance disciplines. Working closely with the team leaders, you will be focused on ensuring that the teams deliver an exceptional level of service to existing clients as well as embedding a culture of going to market to broke risks effectively on potential new client opportunities.
As well a providing management and leadership, you will be involved, from time to time, on the larger and more complex cases, assisting the account executives when required and leading by example. As Broking Manager, you will be the point of contact between the Regional MD and the broking teams, communicating broking strategies and identifying and implementing any training requirements.
Ideal applicants will have a background in commercial broking and with previous management experience. You will have a natural commitment to providing existing clients with the best possible service and a dynamic approach to broking new cases and developing relationships within the underwriting community.
This role comes with a salary up to circa £60k per annum and with a full and comprehensive benefits package, flexible working (currently 3 days in the office and 2 days from home). Progress towards CII studies would be preferred and will be fully supported; Acturis experience is desirable.
